1. Should I use Eureka FilteraireŽ High Filtration vacuum bags?
Filteraire High Filtration vacuum bags retain up to 100% of dust
mite debris, grass and ragweed pollens, plus particles 15 times
smaller than a human hair (a human hair is 50-70 microns). If you're
concerned with indoor air quality or suffer from allergies or asthma,
we recommend choosing a vacuum cleaner that has Sealed HEPA filtration
and uses Filteraire High Filtration vacuum bags.

2. Should I use a Eureka HEPA media vacuum filter?
Designed according to strict HEPA standard, the media in these filters trap particles
75 times smaller than a human hair. This includes 99.97% of dust
mite debris, animal dander, molds and pollen. If you're concerned
with indoor air quality or suffer from allergies or asthma, we
recommend choosing a vacuum cleaner that has HEPA filtration.

3.What is a Sealed HEPA Filtration System?
Eureka is the first in the upright vacuum cleaner industry to offer True Sealed HEPA
Filtration - a totally sealed vacuum filtration system. A True
Sealed HEPA Filtration System filters everything including the
motor exhaust. Only clean air comes out of your vacuum. Each
vacuum with this feature is individually sealed for True HEPA
performance. The filtration will filter household dust, pollens,
bacteria and other allergens as small as 0.3 microns.

10. What if I've
lost the owner's guide and don't know which
model I own?
You will need to find the model number of your Eureka cleaner. To find the model number, locate the long list of numbers on the rating plate. The rating plate is generally located on the lower portion of the vacuum. The first four numbers are the model number (see example).

11. How do I find
the model number on my Eureka vacuum?
The model number on the cleaner is located on a silver
metallic-colored rating plate that is placed in an
area that can be found easily, usually on the back
or bottom of the cleaner. In the example of the rating
plate, notice that the model is "4335" and
the type is "DX". Your complete model number
would be "4335DX".
